Time: 8 am – 1 pm
Location: Kelowna Flying Club, 6135 Airport Way, Kelowna, BC
- Those aged 8 and up are eligible for a free flight in a small airplane!
- Participants must be registered in advance (see link below.)
- Registrations are limited.
- Anyone can fly but preference will be given to 18 years and younger.
A parent or lawful guardian must sign a liability waiver agreement for those under 19 and may be required to provide proof of age.
- Flights are subject to weather, pilot and aircraft availability.
- Flights include a brief introduction on the basics of flight (Ground School.)
- Participants will also receive a Flight Certificate.
- Expect to be at the event for two hours.
- Please be aware that because of unforeseen circumstances, your flight time may be changed to the next flight when you show up.

Please follow parking instructions.
We encourage you to visit the KF Aerospace Museum down the road as they will have other activities lined up for this event. You can walk there or find parking in that area.
- This Discover Aviation event is organized by the Kelowna Flying Club. This is a free-of-charge aviation program that puts COPA member pilots together one-on-one with people aged 8 and up to show them what aviation is all about and to give them an experience of being in the cockpit of an aircraft in flight.
- Each experience includes a short ground lesson, a safety briefing, and the free flight!
